Why an E-mail Etiquette Pledge?
This is a time in history where we are making history. Are we going to kiss it away; or stand up and take control? Is this going to be time when we show our our complacency by not taking a stand for what is right? Are we up to the challenge? That’s for each Netizen to decide on so many topics of the day.
While E-mail Etiquette is not a critical issue compared to so many other things, it is important in how we communicate with eachother. The goal is not to tell people what to do or hinder free speech as some will immediately assume. The purpose is to ensure the online world does not degrade to the point where we no longer want to participate or make the efforts necessary towards behaving in such a way that allows each and every one of us to grow, learn, enjoy and prosper.
